Sam Whiskey Great gambler Sam Whiskey (Burt Reynolds) has got his hands on a heist job that's pretty outrageous, even by Wild West standards. A drop-dead-gorgeous woman (Angie Dickinson) wants to quietly give back the gold her husband had stolen, now that he's dead. She approaches Sam to retrieve the gold from the bottom of a river and smuggle it back into the mint. The widow's beauty, and the nice sum she promises him, leave Sam powerless to resist the preposterous proposal.

Comanche Renegade Comanche leader Black Cloud (Henry Brandon) attacks a Mexican village and kidnaps the beautiful Margarita Alvarez (Linda Cristal). Fleeing to the United States, they come across a band of scalp hunters and are prevented from massacring them by the Comanche chief of the Antelope tribe, Quanah (Kent Smith). Despite the efforts of frontier scout Jim Read (Dana Andrews), turmoil erupts between the whites and the rebel Comanche, and Quanah and Read struggle to restore peace.

Cast a Long Shadow Chip (John Dehner), a ranch foreman, approaches aimless hard-drinker Matt Brown (Audie Murphy) in a New Mexico bar. The owner of Chip's ranch has died and left Matt his land, thinking the troubled drifter may be his long-estranged son. Initially, Matt plans on selling the ranch, but then decides to keep it, hoping to impress his ex-lover, Janet (Terry Moore). The ranch, however, turns out to be in foreclosure, forcing Matt and Chip to come up with a plan to pay off their debt to the bank.

A Reason to Live, A Reason to Die After surrendering Fort Holman to the Confederacy without there being a single shot fired, Col. Pembroke (James Coburn) faces public disgrace and a potential court-martial unless he's able to recapture the fort now held by the power-mad Maj. Ward (Telly Savalas). To help him on this mission, Pembroke enlists a ragtag bunch of condemned men who are promised their freedom should they survive. Despite much internal strife, the group gradually comes together in time for the assault.

The Scalphunters Illiterate fur trapper Joe Bass (Burt Lancaster) is coerced by some Kiowa Indians into trading his haul for a well-educated, escaped slave named Joseph Lee (Ossie Davis). Bass seeks to track the Indians and recover his treasure, while Joseph wants to travel to Mexico, where slavery is illegal. Their plans are complicated by the arrival of a band of scalphunters, led by Jim Howie (Telly Savalas), who want to kill the Indians, claim the furs and resell the black man.

Rebel in Town Bedloe Mason (J. Carrol Naish) and his four sons ride into an Arizona outpost after robbing a bank. When they hear a gun go off behind them, one son immediately turns around and shoots to kill. But his victim turns out to be a young boy with a toy gun, so the Masons hightail it out of town, save for Bedloe's son Gray (Ben Cooper), who feels guilty and stays to see the kid buried. Yet Gray's presence only stirs up more trouble as the child's father, John (John Payne), looks for violent revenge.

Gun Belt After giving up his gunfighting ways, Billy Ringo (George Montgomery) has settled down with his new wife, Arlene (Helen Westcott), on a ranch he's just purchased with his brother, Matt (John Dehner), and nephew Chip (Tab Hunter). But when Matt tricks him into participating in a bank robbery -- and frames him as the ringleader -- Billy is forced to go on the run from lawman Wyatt Earp (James Millican), and once again take up his guns against his former rival, Ike Clinton (William Bishop).
