Nanny Mcphee
Fantasy family comedy. Recently-widowed Cedric Brown struggles to control his brood of seven children, who have managed to drive away 17 different nannies with their bad behaviour - when Cedric arranges for the mysterious Nanny McPhee to come and look after the children, led by the precocious Simon, the children attempt to scare her in the same way as they have the others, but it soon becomes clear that their bad behaviour brings about supernatural and eerie reprisals... Meanwhile, Cedric's uptight Aunt Adelaide has insisted that unless he finds a new wife within a month, she will take one of the children into custody. With their father's utter hopelessness at courtship common knowledge and facing a future in the workhouse - or worse, in the care of relatives, the children turn to their new nanny to save the day.
